Facebook is the second most visited website in 2011, with Google as the most visited one this year, according to a survey by market research firm Nielsen.
Facebook was visited by nearly 130 million visitors each month, whereas Google was visited by more than 153 million visitors, the survey revealed.
With about 130 million visitors each month, Yahoo stood at third position in terms of visitors.
Nielsen has ranked Google+ network far behind Facebook in the list of most popular social networks and blogs.
The research firm found Google's Youtube as the most popular destination for online videos, followed by Vevo.
In terms of smartphone device manufacturers, Apple is the most popular with 29%, followed by HTC (21%), while RIM BlackBerry is in front of Samsung and Motorola (11%) with 17%, according to CNET analysts.
