Full Sail Graduate Hits #3 on Billboard Charts

Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) August 30, 2006

Full Sail Recording Arts graduate, Andrew Coleman, successfully engineered the album ?In My Mind? from top producer, Pharrell Williams, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard charts in July 2006.

Coleman graduated from Full Sail in 1994 and has been working with the record production duo, The Neptunes, since 1997. When The Neptunes purchased Master Sound Studios, where Coleman was an engineer, Coleman stayed on in his position. It did not take long for his hard work to pay off, and in 2004, Coleman served on Justin Timberlake?s Grammy-winning album, ?Justified.?

Coleman?s success did not stop there. He has also partnered with mainstream artists such as Timbaland, Missy Elliot, Mariah Carey, and many others. His work has not only made it to #3 on the Billboard charts, but Coleman has also received three Grammy nominations in 2006 ? one each for his work on the Mariah Carey album, ?The Emancipation of Mimi,? and on Gwen Stefani?s album, ?Love.Angel.Music.Baby.? In addition, he has received one as Recording Engineer for the hit Stefani song, ?Hollaback Girl,? a track from the same album.

?It is amazing to see how much Coleman has accomplished since his graduation here at Full Sail. We are all very proud of his achievements, and his success proves that if you work hard enough, you can truly reach your dreams,? says Recording Arts Program Director Bill Smith.
