She goes blue as Smurfette in the upcoming animated film The Smurfs, but recently Katy Perry has been seeing red. At a promotional event in Toronto for her perfume Purr on June 30, the singer showed off her new copper locks, which she accessorized with a cat ear headband.
Perry's hair transformation started on June 16, when she tweeted "tonight I dye my hair a different color... Can you guess which color?!" Someone that has rocked blue hair in the past could choose any extreme hue, but not even the singer guessed what color her hair would become.
The next day, the 26-year-old described her dye job as an "epic fail" and wrote, "So I didn't get to the exact color I wanted from being black for so long! 2get to goal I have 2b GINGER for 3WKS #paybackfromGINGERGodsFML!"
Between touring for her latest album and making an appearance at New York City's Gay Pride Parade, Perry's making the best of life as a redhead. Only time will tell what color Perry will become when the three weeks is up! What do you think of her red hair? Vote!
